Original photos (left) were scanned then printed on hand made paper.
The paper then covers a hand sewn journal.
A child's old newsprint scrapbook from 1917 was too fragile and acidic to restore.
The original was stored in an acid free wrapper, while colour copies (on acid free paper)
were bound into a facsimile book.
The facsimile book can be handled and passed down as a family heirloom.
